With this feature, you can create more dynamic and personalized signup forms than ever before! This feature allows you to set up follow-up questions that appear only when relevant to the participant. For example, if someone answers "Yes" to the question "Will you join the dinner?", you can automatically prompt them to answer additional questions like "What are your food preferences?" or "Do you have any allergies?" This helps you keep forms short, simple, and engaging—all while gathering important information.

How to create sections and follow-up questions

Conditional Sections let you group questions that will only display based on specific answers. Follow these steps to create sections and link them to a certain response:

  1. Add a new section:

    • Click Add new question and select Section.

    • Name the section, e.g., "Dinner Questions," and save.

  2. Add follow-up questions within the section:

    • Inside the new section, click Add new question and select a field type, such as text.

    • Add the question "Food preferences" and save.

    • Repeat this process for other questions, like "Allergies."

  3. Set up section display based on an answer:

    • Return to the question "Will you join the dinner?".

    • Select Open section based on answer.

    • Mark the answer option "Yes" and link it to the "Dinner Questions" section.

    • Save your changes.

Preview and arrange fields

When you’re done, you can preview the form by clicking Preview. If you want to change the order of questions, simply drag and drop fields by clicking in the corner of each question and moving them up or down. You can also reorder questions within a section in the same way.

Conditional Sections help you create forms that are both concise and effective, offering a better experience for participants!
