The following settings are needed to make the URL for your event shareable.
Click on `Settings`
Click `Setup`
Go to Who can see this event
The event needs to be set to
Everyone`, a completely open registration, or `Password`, requires a password to see the event page.
The event also needs to be published in order to share the URL. To publish an event, press the orange `Publish` button.
NOTE: It is still possible to make changes to the event page after the event is published.
When the event is published, click on `Go to event site` at the top of the left menu.
Copy the URL in the search bar to share it.
The URL cannot be copied and shared if it starts with:
app.confetti.events: This means that the URL is copied from within the event tool and not from the event page.
preview.confetti.events: This means either that the event is unpublished or has the setting Who can see this event -> `Invitation only`. Then the event does not get a searchable URL, but invited people only reach the page via their invitation.
