Create a Ticket event

  • Click on `New event`

  • Select 'Tickets'

  • Fill in information

  • Click on `Save`

Enter financial details

Before you can create tickets, you need to fill in your bank details. This is so that we can pay out the ticket revenue.

  • Click on `Settings`

  • Click on `Financial`

  • Fill in information

NOTE: This needs to be done even if the event is free. In that case, you can fill in anything as long as the fields are not empty.

  • Click on`Save`

Create tickets

When you create tickets, you do so in batches. This allows you to have tickets with different prices, numbers, and release dates.

  • Click on `Tickets`

  • Click on `Tickets`

  • Click on `Create a ticket batch`

Before you can create a ticket batch, you need to fill in some information about it:

Name: The name of the ticket batch

Description: Describes what the ticket is about

Batch size: The number of tickets that the batch contains

Price excluding VAT: If it is a paid ticket, enter the price for the ticket excluding VAT

Link batch size to another batch: If you have created different ticket batches but want them to be retrieved from a common ticket pool, check the box and select the batch to be linked with the current batch. If you link batches to each other, they are collected under the "main batch" in the list, and you can find them by clicking on the small arrow.

Custom VAT rate: If the ticket batch should have a specific VAT rate, enter it here.

Max tickets per purchase: Enter how many tickets one should be able to choose from the batch by dragging the slider or entering the desired number directly in the number field.

NOTE: This regulation only applies to the maximum number of tickets from the current batch. The total allowed number of tickets per purchase is set under 'Settings' -> 'Setup' -> 'Max tickets per purchase'.

Set date: If the ticket only applies to specific times during the event, enter it here.

+End date: Enter an end time for the ticket. If no end time is specified, the ticket is valid until the event is over.

Set a promo code for this batch: A ticket batch can be hidden behind a promo code.

It then only becomes visible if you fill in the promo code in the Promo code field in the ticket selection window.

Hide this ticket batch and make it unavailable for everyone: Hide the batch so that it does not appear as a visible option. This is useful if, for example, you want to prepare ticket batches but not yet show them as visible.

Set a release and close date: Set the date for when the ticket should be available to choose.

If Hide this ticket batch and make it unavailable for everyone is not activated, the date when the ticket becomes available will be displayed in the ticket selection window.

Use a custom form: If you have created different tickets where you need specific information from a participant based on which ticket they choose, you can connect a unique signup form to the batch by checking the box and selecting the desired form.

Set minimum number tickets per purchase: Enter a minimum number of tickets that must be selected from the batch.

Sell ticket in group of: Enter a fixed number of tickets when selecting from the batch. A purchase from this batch will provide tickets equal to the specified number.

Enable invoice payments: Enables invoice payment for the ticket batch.

If you sell tickets and want to offer invoice payment for tickets from this batch, you can follow the blue link where you can adjust the details for the invoice payment.

Difference when booking free and paid tickets

Free ticket

When a person books a free ticket, they are taken directly to the ticket signup form where they fill in their ticket details.

Paid ticket

When buying a paid ticket, you must fill in your payment details before entering the signup form to secure your purchase.

This model is proven to increase conversion and sell more tickets because it allows the buyer to book multiple tickets even if they don't have the ticket information for all tickets at the time of purchase.
