Invite an attendee with the option to bring extras
To invite an attendee with the option to bring extras, "plus ones" , follow these steps:
Click on `Settings`
Click on `Setup`
Check the box `Guests can bring extras`
Set the number to 0 (or the desired number of extras that everyone can bring)
Click on `Attendees`
Click on `Invite/Import`
Fill in the participant information
Enter how many extra people the invitee should be allowed to bring, under Extra guests.
Invite a list of attendees who will be allowed to bring extras
If you want to invite a list of attendees who will be allowed to bring extra people, enter them as usual, by following these steps:
Click on `Attendees`
Click on `Invite/Import`
Click on `Group`
Fill in the attendee information
- One attendee per row
- Each row should consist of either an Email or First Name, Last Name and Email, optionally followed by custom variables. Also add a column with the number of participants the persons are allowed to bring
Click on `Continue and preview`
Click `Select` over the column with the number of extra people
Select the maximum number of extra guests under Max guests
Click on `Invite`. The persons are then invited with the possibility to add the extra persons in the Signup form.
Invite an already invited/registered attendee to bring extras
To invite an already invited/registered attendee to bring more people, follow these steps:
Click on `Attendees`
Click on `List`
Click on the name of the participant
Click on `Edit`
Click in the box `Allow more extra guests than default`
Under Max. number of extra guests allowed, enter the number of extra people the participant in question is allowed to bring
Click on `Save`. The person can then go to their registration form and add extra guests.
