Guide for printing name tags

NOTE: This guide is for iOS (iPhone or iPad) only.

Connect the printer by following these steps:

  1. Turn on the router to your WiFi

  2. Turn on the printer

  3. Connect the mobile phone(s) / iPad that you will use to print labels to the router's WiFi

  4. Enter the Confetti Check-in app via mobile / iPad. The Confetti Check-in app should be version 1.0.13. If you have an earlier version, reinstall the app in the App Store.

To print labels, follow these steps:

  1. Scan the participant's QR code or retrieve the information manually by tapping on the participant's name in the participant list.

  2. Check in the participant

  3. Tap on Print label

  4. If you have not already selected a printer, you will be asked to select the printer you want to use by tapping on the name of the printer.

Follow these steps to make settings for how your participants are checked in:

  1. Enter your event via Confetti's Check-in app

  2. Tap on Scan

  3. Tap on the settings icon (the gear) in the top right corner

  4. To check in participants automatically during a scan - select Auto check in

  5. To print a label automatically when a participant is checked in, select Print on check in.

To choose which fields to print on the labels follow these steps:

  1. Enter your event in the Confetti tool via browser

  2. Click on `Attendees`

  3. Click on `Name badges`

  4. Choose which fields to print on the labels under Badges
