What happens if an attendee is prevented to come to your event?

Decline a Free event (RSVP)

Attendees that are registered to a Free event (RSVP) that can no longer come, always have the choice to de-register and cancel their "ticket".

De-register to a Free event (RSVP) by following these steps:

  1. Open the welcome message (the confirmation email)

  2. Click on the button that says `No, unfortunately I can't go`

  3. Click on `OK` in the pop up window asking "Are you sure you want to cancel the ticket?"

  4. As a result the attendee will change status to "Declined" in your list of attendees.

Decline a ticket event with free tickets

Attendees to a ticket event with free tickets can cancel their ticket if they are still allowed to update their registration. Read more about setting a last date for attendees to update registration, here.

Cancel ticket to a ticket event with free tickets by following these steps:

  1. Open the ticket

  2. Click on the button that says `Cancel ticket`

  3. Click on `OK` in the pop up window asking "Are you sure you want to cancel the ticket?"

  4. As a result the attendee will change status to "Declined" in the list of attendees and the ticket is removed

Decline a ticket event with paid tickets

If an attendee want to cancel their paid ticket to a ticket event, they can reply to any email sent via the event to get in touch with the organizer.
