By hiding a ticket batch behind a promo code, you can make a test ticket purchase to see what the flow looks like for your attendees.

Hide a ticket batch for testing behind a promo code

To set up a promo code for a ticket batch to test ticket purchase, follow these stepps:

  1. Go to Tickets in the menu

  2. Click on `Tickets`

  3. Create a new ticket batch that will be available with the promo code, and set the price to zero.

  4. Click on `Edit`

  5. Check the box `Set promo code for this batch`

  6. Select and type in your promo code

  7. Click on `Save`

  8. Buy a ticket to your own event. Use the promo code you chose to make the free batch visible and buy a ticket to test the purchase process.
