Up until now, you have been able to use categories when showing the event in the Workspace or use categories when embedding events on an external site.

Contacts and Categories
This is how your Categories can be used to keep track of all attendees in your Contacts:
Contacts with Tickets attending an event, will get all that event's "Categories" automatically.
โThe contact that is created when someone attend an event, will get the same "Categories" as the event.
โIf you add a new category to an event, that category will also be added to the contacts of all attending tickets.
โIf you remove a category from an event, it will not be removed from the contacts.
