Customize the map on your event page

Give your event map the right vibe! Choose between classic street maps, satellite views, creative designs, and minimalist styles — then adjust the size and shape to match your event perfectly.

The map section helps attendees find the event location and makes it easier to navigate to the venue.
In Confetti, you can customize the map style, size, and shape to match your event design and needs.
​You can make these adjustments in the map block under ‘Pages’ → ‘Start’ (the home icon) → ‘Location’, or by clicking the map block in the preview to the right when the block is active.

The event address is configured under ‘Settings’ → ‘Setup’ → ‘Address’.

Map styles

You can choose between several different map styles depending on the type of event you are hosting and the visual appearance you want to create.

  • Event default (Streets) – Uses the default event map style focused on roads and navigation.

  • Streets – A classic road map with streets, place names, and navigation details.

  • Outdoor – Optimized for outdoor activities with a focus on nature and terrain.

  • Landscape – Highlights natural areas, parks, and landscapes for a softer visual appearance.

  • Topo – A topographic map showing terrain and elevation details.

  • Winter – A winter-inspired map style with cooler tones and seasonal styling.

  • Aquarelle – An artistic watercolor-inspired map style.

  • Backdrop – A minimalist background map with reduced visual noise.

  • Base – A clean and simplified map style focused on clarity.

  • Dataviz – A modern map style adapted for presentations and visual data overlays.

  • Ocean – A map style with extra focus on oceans and water areas.

  • OpenStreetMap – Uses OpenStreetMap’s open-source map data and standard design.

  • Toner – A high-contrast black-and-white map style.

  • Satellite Plain – Displays satellite imagery without labels or road markings.

  • Satellite Hybrid – Combines satellite imagery with roads and place labels.

Recommendations for different map styles

  • Use Streets or Satellite Hybrid for city events and clear navigation.

  • Use Outdoor, Landscape, or Topo for outdoor events, retreats, or sports activities.

  • Use Backdrop, Base, or Dataviz for a more minimalistic and modern design.

  • Use Aquarelle or Winter if you want a more decorative or themed appearance.

Map size

You can also choose how large the map should appear on the page.

  • Small – Displays the map in a compact format. Suitable when the map should not be the main focus of the page.

  • Full width – Displays the map across the full width of the content area for a more prominent appearance. Visitors can also zoom directly in the map on the event page without first having to open it separately.

Change the shape of the map

If you use the ‘Small’ map size, you can also change the shape of the map, for example from a circle to a square or a squircle.


To change the shape of the map:

  1. Click ‘Pages’ in the menu.

  2. Click ‘Design’.

  3. Scroll down to ‘Buttons corner radius’.

  4. Adjust the slider to change the corner roundness of the map and signup button.
