Require email verification for attendees

With email verification, you can require attendees to verify their email address when signing up or before they can view their ticket.

Set up email verification for attendees

  1. Click `Settings`

  2. Click `Setup`

  3. Scroll down to the email verification settings

  4. Choose which verification option you want to enable


    ​

    • Require email verification to sign up – attendees must verify their email address before their registration is confirmed.

    • Require email verification to view ticket – attendees must verify their email address before they can view their ticket.

  5. You can enable one or both options, depending on how you want email verification to work.

Email verification can, for example, help reduce spam and prevent people from being registered without their knowledge.

Note: This feature is available on the Busniess plan.
