Verify sender address for email campaigns
To send emails from your own sender address in Confetti, the address must first be verified. This ensures that only people who have access to the email address can use it as a sender.
Add and verify a sender address
Go to `Settings` for the event or workspace
Add the email address you want to use as the sender
A verification email will be sent to the address and must be confirmed before it can be used for email campaigns.
You can have multiple verified sender addresses, but only one can be active at a time.
Verification applies per event or workspace
Sender addresses are managed separately for each event and workspace. This means that a verified address does not automatically become available in other events.
Email addresses that were already being used as sender addresses when this feature was introduced were automatically verified, allowing existing email campaigns to continue working as before.
Reply-to
If an address is entered in the Reply-to field, it will be used as the reply address. When a recipient replies to the email, their response will be sent to this address.
If an email cannot be sent from the selected address
If the domain is not configured correctly and the email therefore cannot be sent from the selected sender address, Confetti will make several attempts.
If the email still cannot be sent, noreply@confetti.events will be used as the sender instead.
