If you get an error message even though you have published your event site it is often caused by your URL (Uniform Resource Locators, or web address) being too long.

This article explains what you can do to solve that problem.

Change URL to your event site

When you name your event and URL is created based on the name of your event. You can change your URL afterwards.

Change URL (web address)

To change your URL, follow these steps:

  1. Click on `Settings` in the menu

  2. Click on `Setup`

  3. Click on`Domains`

  4. Click on `Add domain`

  5. Fill in a new URL and click on `Add domain`

  6. The new domain will now be Primary but we recommend that you save the old address as a Redirect. To leave your old web address as a Redirect means that it will automatically lead to the new web address to avoid the risk of accidentally lose important information.
