How do I change the colors on my event site?

Do you want to change the color of text, background or buttons but do not know how to do it with CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)?

You can, in addition to choosing your Primary color, make several color choices on your page. This article describes how you can make different color choices and how they affect the appearance of your event site.

Choose or change colors on your event site

To change different sents of colors on your event page, follow these steps:

  1. Click on `Pages`

  2. Click on `Design`

  3. Click on `Advanced colors`. 


Primary color 

Changing the Primary color affects these areas on your event site:

  • Signup button in your Header

  • Background to text in the Location block

  • Text on registration button in the Location block

  • Email addresses of organizers in Organizers block

Text color

If you change the Text color it will affect the text in these blocks:

  • Text block

  • Speakers block

  • Organizers block

  • Sponsors block

Contrast color

If you change the Contrast color it will affect these parts of your event site:

  • The text in the Header block

  • Text in Location block

  • Background in Text block

  • Background in Speakers block

  • Background in Organizers block

  • Background in Sponsors block

  • Registration button in the Location block

Secondary contrast color

Secondary contrast color affects the same parts of the event page as Contrast color but offers a second option that you can set for individual blocks. 

Signup color

Changing Signup color affects the confirmation button.

Your color choices in emails

If you want use all your color choices in Confetti emails, check the box `Use all colors in emails`.

You can see how the color choices will affect your page under Event page color test and Signup color test to make sure that all text is readable.

Change color of Title and Tagline

You can change the color of the Title and the Tagline. This is useful if the title is poorly displayed when uploading your header image. To change the color of the Title and the Tagline, follow these steps:

  1. Click on `Pages`

  2. Click on `Start`, or your event name (next to the house icon)

  3. Click on `Header`

  4. Click on `Text color`

  5. Change color.

Color theme

You can go into the different blocks and choose whether the Color theme should be Primary, Inverted or Secondary by following these steps:

  1. Click on `Pages`

  2. Click on `Start`, or your event name (next to the house icon)

  3. Choose and click on a block

  4. Click on Primary, Inverted or Secondary under Color theme.
    ​
